About Us
Inspirit is a non-profit organization that provides live music and the performing arts to people of all ages who are living, either temporarily or permanently, in an institution.

A community-based organization, Inspirit was founded in June 2000 in Palm Beach County, Florida and is based on organizations such as Bread and Roses in San Francisco. The idea came out of the realization that so many people living in institutions are isolated from society and therefore from any form of live music and the performing arts. Inspirit recognizes the incredible need for this service in the community.

Inspirit provides services to:
• Nursing Homes
• Senior Assisted Living Facilities
• Alzheimers Day Care Centers
• Children's Shelters
• Pediatric Hospitals
• Mental Health Centers
• Rehabilitation Institutes
• Group Homes
• Correctional Facilities
...and others that serve those in need.

Mission
Inspirit provides this service in order to raise morale, promote the healing process, and relieve the boredom, loneliness and despair that are so often a part of institutional life. In addition, local musicians and performance artists are given an opportunity to contribute their special talents to the community.
